Even the most respected high-end audio companies often rely on third-party platforms for critical elements such as digital processing, filter technology, software, or control systems.
That dependence on outside platforms is precisely what CH Precision has worked to eliminate.

By bringing analog and digital engineering, software development, power-supply design, and mechanical engineering together under one roof, we can conceive every component as a complete, coherent system.

When an existing solution does not meet our standards, we create our own—from PEtER spline filtering and DSQ conversion to ExactBias™, proprietary power-supply architectures, and the MORSE transport mechanism.

Every discipline. One engineering vision.

This year in Vienna, CH Precision will be featured in a reference system built around Peak Consult’s new SunFyre loudspeakers, a three-way D’Appolito floor-standing design.

The CH Precision system will include the D10 Reference Transport, C10 Reference DAC, T10 Time Reference 10MHz Clock, L10 Reference Line-stage, and M10 Reference Power Amplifier.

The system will also feature Chord Company ChordMusic power, signal, and loudspeaker cables; Chord Company ARAY grounding devices; the Telos Power Station Tai Chi power-factor-correction AC supply; and Andante Largo Grand Tower equipment support.

We invite you to join us in Vienna to experience this exceptional system and meet with the CH Precision team.

Congratulations to Rhapsody on a beautiful event held on May 1st and 2nd.

The system brought together Marten Coltrane Quintet loudspeakers with a CH Precision C10 Reference DAC, L10 Reference Line Preamp, M10 Reference Amplifier, and D1.5 Transport—a combination fully worthy of the occasion. And to conclude the evening with a live jazz concert was exactly right: a graceful and deeply musical way to bring the event to a close.

What makes this especially fitting is that Rhapsody has built its identity around precisely these kinds of experiences: serious listening, shared musical discovery, and intimate concerts in a space designed for music to breathe. We are grateful to have CH Precision represented in that spirit.

Our congratulations and thanks to the Rhapsody team for a memorable evening.

High End Audio

Much of modern digital audio is built around delta-sigma conversion: immense oversampling, noise shaping, and a statistical approximation of the desired analog result. CH Precision takes a different path. Its DACs are built around true multi-bit R-2R conversion, in which each digital code corresponds directly to a defined analog state. That distinction is not academic. It goes to the heart of CH’s belief that music must be preserved as an ordered sequence in time, not merely reconstructed as an acceptable outcome.

The difficulty is that R-2R makes severe demands. It requires exact resistor matching, thermal consistency, and long-term linearity. CH addresses this where it must be addressed: physically. The ladder resistors are mounted on a single silicon substrate, ensuring geometric uniformity and thermal tracking across the network. In the C10, there are eight resistor arrays per channel, with four devoted to the non-inverted signal and four to its inverted counterpart, all operating within a tightly synchronized DSQ™ phased array designed to ensure greater stability, channel symmetry, and temporal precision, essentially eliminating the microscopic mismatches that erode coherence, linearity, and truth at the lowest levels.

This is not digital as a technical exercise. It is digital, made answerable to music itself.

The aim is not measured by specifications alone. It is a more exact preservation of musical time, structure, and identity.

At CH Precision, modularity is not a convenience feature. It is an expression of belief.

We do not think a serious investment in music should be diminished by obsolescence. That conviction is built into the architecture itself: components designed to expand, evolve, and remain relevant over time, with “performance without obsolescence” and what CH calls “progression without obsolescence” built into the product philosophy.

This is why CH systems are conceived not as fixed objects, but as enduring platforms—open to future upgrades, adaptable to changing systems, and engineered for long-term reliability. Modularity, in this sense, is not only technical. It is ethical. It reflects respect for the listener, for the system, and for time itself.

It was gratifying to see our sister brand, Wattson Audio, presented so successfully at AXPONA.

The system—Madison Streamer, Madison Power S, and Madison Amplifier driving the new Magico S2, with Nordost cabling throughout—landed exactly as it should: engaging, transparent, and musically convincing. Systems like this do not persuade through hi-fi effect, but through coherence, openness, and the absence of strain. Kudos to the Wattson team for developing these musically engaing products.

On the CH Precision side, Magico used an L1 and X1 with the extraordinary S7. A majestic system in the best sense: scale without heaviness, authority without aggression.
