Setting goals are important. Without a target it is difficult to know what you’re working towards or to measure how you are getting closer to achieving it.
Your goal may be race specific which is great as it is something which is also timebound.
But goals are not just about the races you’d like to compete in they may have different objectives such as losing weight, being stronger or more active, eating more healthy.
