What is a GMP lab and why is it important to your brand?
GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practice and GMP laboratories follow and systematically document adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice regulations. They recognise the importance of putting quality first and upholding production excellence at every step of the pharmaceutical manufacturing process.

There are 5 key P’s to a GMP laboratory: people, premises, processes, products and procedures (or paperwork). These help to ensure the consistent quality and safety of products.

What is an adaptogen?

An adaptogen is “a natural substance considered to help the body adapt to stress”. (Oxford Languages Dictionary)

They are a buzz word in the wellness sector, you’ll see them being mentioned in a wide range of settings.

So why are they such a talking point?

They are non-toxic plants which are believed to have properties which can help the body to resist stress, whether that’s physical, chemical or biological. They’ve been used in Chinese and other healing traditions for centuries.

How do you add them to your diet?
You can find them in teas or tinctures quite easily and we combine ours into our tinctures along with CBD which is also widely believed to have a range of wellness benefits.
