On this trip he was on the A-Frame—a deep-swallow-tail board that’s surprisingly nimble with more pop than it has any business having. Mark’s been riding it exclusively and pushing it way past what people think a swallowtail can do: landing and taking off switch, and throwing tricks I’ve never seen on a board shaped like that. I think he enjoys proving that a “cruiser” can handle way more than its silhouette suggests.
