Mit Freude blicken wir auf unsere Mitgliederversammlung vom 26. März 2026 zurück. Gemeinsam mit Mitgliedern, Aktiven und Interessierten durften wir auf das vergangene Jahr zurückschauen, laufende Projekte besprechen und wichtige Weichen für 2026 stellen.

Besonders freuen wir uns über die Wahl unserer neuen Vorstandsmitglieder: Christoph Kleber, Leticia Rost, Aline Kunz und Silva Lässer. Wir heissen sie herzlich willkommen und freuen uns auf die gemeinsame Zusammenarbeit im Vorstand von Incomindios.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön gilt auch allen bisherigen und wiedergewählten Vorstandsmitgliedern, der Geschäftsstelle sowie allen Mitgliedern und Unterstützer*innen für ihr Engagement und ihr Vertrauen.

📢 Incomindios at the 14th UN Forum on Business and Human Rights!

We are currently in Geneva supporting three inspiring Indigenous delegates at the 14th UN Forum on Business and Human Rights! This Forum is a critical space for holding corporations accountable and advancing Indigenous rights.

Meet Our Delegates:

We are honored to support these three leaders who are bringing vital community perspectives to the global stage:

1. Maria Violet Medina Quiscue (Nasa Community, Colombia)
2. Carlos Gualtero (Pijao Community, Colombia)
3. Rosalino Guarupe Joropa (Saliba Community, Colombia and President of the National Indigenous Organisation of Colombia)

Key Highlights from the Forum So Far:

Preparation & Unity (Sunday):
Before the Forum officially started, we attended the powerful Global Indigenous Caucus with our delegates. It was an incredible experience to witness Indigenous peoples from the Arctic to the Pacific come together. They strategized, shared common struggles, and coordinated the most important points to emphasize during the week. The Caucus collectively chose Eirik Larsen (from the Sámi Community) to deliver the powerful opening address in their name. A true demonstration of unity!

💡 Strategic Partnership: Empowering Indigenous Women through Sustainable Economic Models

We are excited to highlight our latest collaboration, supporting a crucial project led by Naomi Jubitane, founder of the Akuri Foundation in Suriname. This initiative provides a powerful model for tackling economic disparity and isolation in Indigenous communities.

Naomi, a dynamic young leader from the Kalina village of Tibiti, has designed a solution to combat the geographical and structural barriers faced by her community. The challenge is significant: Tibiti is extremely isolated, lacking the infrastructure for regular trade and economic opportunity.

The Project’s Focus:

Empowerment: Training ten women in ecological farming and food processing.
Sustainability: Focusing on self-sufficiency first, then generating income by selling surplus products.
Impact: Connecting the community to markets and breaking the cycle of poverty and structural exclusion.

This initiative aligns directly with global development objectives, particularly the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Incomindios is proud to help finance this community-led project, which transforms dependency into opportunity.

Surinam Donation for Incomindios

Als Presenting Partner lädt Incomindios zusammen mit am 29.11 um 11:00 Uhr in der Zentralwäscherei zu einer besonderen Doppelvorführung im Rahmen des Festival.

Im ersten Film "Mer enn bare fjell" (Mehr als nur Berge), begleitet der Filmemacher junge Sámi-Aktivist:innen in Norwegen.

Der zweite Film widmet sich der Geschichte und Arbeit von Incomindios. Der Film zeichnet den Weg des indigenen Widerstands und beleuchtet die Folgen von Geschäftspraktiken auf indigenen Territorien.

Nach beiden Filmen gibt es eine Podiumsdiskussion und auch Kaffee ☕️ und Gipfeli 🥐
