Hidden away on Jumby Bay Island, Antigua, Calabash is a landscape where ecology, architecture and outdoor living come together in perfect balance. Designed exclusively with native Caribbean plant species and preserving over 200 existing trees, the garden creates a lush, immersive retreat while protecting the island’s fragile ecosystem.

Thoughtfully integrated outdoor furnishings extend the architecture into the landscape, creating inviting spaces that blur the boundaries between inside and out. The result is a timeless dialogue between nature, design and craftsmanship—an environment that celebrates both biodiversity and the art of outdoor living.

Drawn to the quiet monumentality of Hans Josephsohn’s work. His sculptures feel almost unearthed rather than created — raw, tactile forms carrying the weight of time and memory.

What I love most is the honesty of his process: every surface holds the trace of touch and material itself. Josephsohn reduced the human figure to its essence, creating works that communicate entirely through presence.
