👶✨ Watching Your Baby Grow: A Simple Guide to Motor Development
Have you ever wondered how your little one learns to move, sit, and walk? It’s like watching a tiny superhero slowly unlock new powers every month 💪💛

Let’s break it down in a super easy way 👇
🍼 1 Month
Your baby mostly lies down and rests. Their body is still getting used to the world.
👀 2 Months
They start lifting their head a little. It may seem small, but it’s a big step!
💪 3 Months
Now they can lift their chest while lying on their tummy. Their muscles are getting stronger.
🪑 4–6 Months
With some support, your baby can sit. They begin to look around and explore more.
😊 7–8 Months
They can sit all by themselves. This helps them play and interact better.
🐾 8–9 Months
Your baby may start crawling (or “scrambling”). They are ready to move and explore!
🧍 9–10 Months
With help, they can stand. You might see them holding onto things for balance.
🚶 11 Months
They may try walking with support, like holding your hands.
🎉 12–13 Months
Now they can stand on their own. Big milestone!
🪜 14 Months
They may try climbing stairs (with help, of course).
👣 15 Months
Walking independently begins. Those first steps are magical 💖
🦘 36 Months (3 Years)
Your child can hop on one leg. So much growth!
💡 Many parents ask, “Is my baby developing at the right pace?”
And the truth is—every baby is different. Some learn faster, some take their time, and that’s completely okay ❤️
🌼 The most important thing is to support, love, and encourage your child as they grow.

This is an en caul birth → when a baby is born still completely inside the amniotic sac.
Normally:
• The sac ruptures (“water breaks”) before or during labor
Here:
• The sac stays intact
• Baby emerges fully encased in a thin, fluid-filled membrane
What you’re seeing:
• That translucent “bubble” = amniotic sac
• Fluid inside = amniotic fluid
• Baby still essentially in a protected intrauterine environment for a few extra moments
Why it matters:
🧠 It’s extremely rare
• Occurs in
