GHSS

A 4-day Quality System Management (QMS) training using the SLMTA toolkit for some laboratory personnel is underway at Hotel Lubumbashi, Lubumbashi - DR Congo by a team from GHSS.
The training runs from June 18-21, 2019 covering the following modules with their key messages and desired outcomes -
1. Module 2 (Work Area Management
Key Message: My lab is a clean, safe, and functional work environment

Desired Outcome: Clean, adequate, safe, and functional equipment, work space, and storage area

2. Module 3 (Inventory Management)
Key Message: My lab monitors inventory

Desired Outcome: No over-stocking, No under-stocking, No stock-out

3. Module 4 (Procurement Management)
Key Message: My lab maintains adequate supplies and reagents

Desired Outcome: Fresh supplies are always available for continuous care

4. Module 5 (Equipment Management)
Key Message: My lab maintains equipment to provide uninterrupted service

Desired Outcome: Equipment functioning all the time to ensure uninterrupted and quality service.
