*At what age should you talk to a boy or girl child about s*x?*
Not speaking to children about s*x do them no good rather speaking to them about s*x buld them up for adulthood.
In doing so,use correct and appropriate terminology to reduce anxiety especially when it comes to body parts.
As they grow,keep speaking to them about it for it's better to be proactive than reactive.
*Topics to be discussed according to age*
1.0-5 years.
-Body Anatomy.Speak to your child about their body letting them know they shouldn't be touched at just any area of the body by any or everyone.With this,even during playful moments,they will be mindful.
-Public body parts.
Not every part of ones body should be seen by everyone as a result,let your child know how they should dress and cover up themselves because exposing them brings down Integrity and also predispose you to abuse.
-Private body parts.
Your child at 5 years should already know about their private how to care for them and how to protect them so always teach your child this.
-Gender.
Letting your child know his or her s*x is important because it will prevent them trying to practice what they see or hear.
- Giving names to body parts.
With example be it through drawing or images from media, show them how each body part is called and it's function so that they will be aware each time they see these body parts.
-Getting help from those they trust .
Children have person's with whom they discuss what borders them.So as a parent,make your child feel comfortable with you so they can always share their worries with you.
2. Primary school
-How babies are made.
Teach your children how kids are made ,the process involved.This will help guide them on their every move since they have in mind what can happen if they get into intimacy.
-How babies are born.
A girl child should know that after one gets pregnant,next is for the baby to be born.To this effect,they should be aware the means through which they can be delivered of.
-Puberty.
As children grow old,they mature and when this happens,changes are bound to occur.For a man,he will have beared around the cheek and private, pimples, change in voice.For a girl,they will have breast , menstruation, enlarged buttocks .So it's important to let them know about these changes so it doesn't scare them as they age up.

Research has shown that girls of this class and age,get involved with contraceptive of various types not minding its side effect.All that interest them is preventing unintended pregnancy.Thus as a parent ,educate your children about this.
-Healthy relationship
Children are often attracted to their opposite s*x and as a result,they date each other.However,not all of them keep it healthy that's protective s*x or total abstinence.Thus as a parent,it is your responsibility to educate your children.
-Respect and communication.
Your child should be able to select the words they speak how they speak it and to who .This helps them communicate appropriately in the community as a whole.
-Safer s*x and intimacy.
Children get fun of themselves and at times,they want to try what they have either seen or heard.
Thus, educate them about safe s*x methods and it's benefits.
The above-mentioned points are important in guiding your children from childhood through adulthood for a healthy living.

*Pregnancy and S*x*
Many have the view that when they're pregnant,it stops them from having s*x.same goes with the men they always feel once their wives are pregnant,it waves them off s*x but that's not entirely true.However ,how safe or unsafe it is depends on the position.
It's recommended that when a woman is pregnant,she should have s*x until her delivery.S*x helps to Pave the way for delivery as it opens wide the va**nal for easy passage.It should be noted that,s*x during pregnancy should start atleast a month after you conceive.It has been reported that s*x too early in pregnancy say a week older or so,can lead to miscarriage of any sort.After a month,you are advised to have safe and gentle s*x with your husband paying attention to the position.
During s*x,do not be scared that the baby will be harmed because the baby is protected by the placenta, amniotic fluid sac, mucus plug.

*Male fertility*
Men often think that age doesn't matter when it comes to bearing children but that's not true.The number and quality of s***m declines with age .From a biological standpoint, expert's recommend a man is best suited to father a child from his late 20s to Early 30s .
It is still very possible for men to father a child at 50 and older.
*Men's biological clock*.
Men typically never stop producing s***m however,as a man ages up ,his s***m undergoes genetic mutations which increases the likelihood that the DNA of his s***m maybe damaged .This can influence fertility and also create potential impacts on the health of future children.
Studies have shown that father's of an advanced paternal age maybe more likely to have children with Neurodevelopmental disorder .A study done in 2010 observe that men over 40 years ,their offsprings are at risk of developing Autism spectrum disorder compared to those less.

For most men,this happen after 50 . Notwithstanding,men are most fertile from 22 years to 25 years .It is suggested to have children before 35 years of age.

*Can I have fibroids and still get pregnant*
Most women always have the fear that having or being diagnosed of fibroids,you may not conceive again or at all.But that is not entirely true you can always get pregnant even when diagnosed of fibroids but this however can be dependent on two factors;
- Size of the fibroids.How large the fibroid is determine the extent to which it will cause complications. Larger fibroids may hinder pregnancy. Now when a fibroid is large,it occupy larger space which may make it impossible keeping pregnancy or getting pregnant at all.
-The location of the fibroid in the womb.If found inside the uterus,it will be difficult to conceive.Fibriods may prevent s***m and egg from meeting for an embryo to implant and they mostly grow in places or to sizes that make it challenging for pregnancy to occur in the first place. Fibroids have the capacity to affect the health and welfare of the fetus.
Fibroids that change the shape of your cervix can affect the number of s***m Able to enter the uterus .
Uterine fibroids that block the the fallopian tube makes the journey of the fertilized egg to implantation difficult or not occur.

-Nsaids.These medications help reduce pain for example Ibuprofen.

- Hysterectomy.Which is partia or complete removal of the uterus
-Myeomectomy.It is removal of fibroids from the muscular wall of the uterus.
-Endometrial ablation .It is removal of the uterine lining.
-Uterine fibroids embolization.It is cutting off of the blood supply to the area so to shrink the fibroids.

Abortion or miscarriage is the termination of pregnancy either for medical or personal reasons.
People may have an abortion for several reasons be it finance or illhealth.Most abortions take place within the first 13 weeks.It should be noted that after this time, people still abort for health related reasons.
Criminalizing abortion does not stop people from having abortions but it does increase complications and deaths.To ensure safety and protect dignity,it is crucial that people perform abortion under the supervision of a health practitioners.
Abortion can either be complete, incomplete, missed, threatened, inevitable or septic abortion.

*Stress.Stress as a whole is not healthy for an individual so after conception, stressful events is capable of expelling the foetus.Thus avoid stress after conception.

*Menstrual cycle.*
The menstrual cycle varries from woman to woman but the average is a 28 days cycle. Cycles that are longer or shorter than this,be it 21 or 25 to 35 or 38 are considered normal.The menstrual cycle is the time from the first day of a woman's period to the day before her next period.
At *what age does menstruation begin?*
You can begin as early as 8years but persons often begin from 12 to 15 years .As you age up,pubic hair grow and they begin to menstruate.
Once you reach 20 ,your cycle is regular and become irregular as you get older.An irregular period maybe a sign of a problem.
However,it should be noted that menstruation ends as people go old and it's said that around the 50's , menopause begin and at menopause, getting pregnant seems practically impossible.

*Causes*
-Hormones(Prostaglandins) Which triggers uterine muscle to contract.
-Endometriosis.This is the abnormal growth of tissues .
-Uterine fibroids .This is non-cancerous growth in the walls of the uterus can cause pain .
- Adenomyosis.This is when the tissue that lines your uterus begin to grow into the muscular walls of the uterus.
-Pelvic inflammatory disease. It is usually caused by s*xually transmitted bacteria.
- Cervical stenosis .In some women,the opening of the cervix is small enough to impede menstrual flow causing painfull increase of pressure within the uterus.
*Risk factor*
-Age. Those younger than 30 years are more prone to this .
-Early puberty. Those who are start puberty say 11 years Younger have been reported to have more menstrual cramp's than those who started late.
-You bleed heavily during periods (Menorrhagia).Those who bleed heavily are reported to have cramps as a result of the force with which blood is expelled.

Needs to be taken daily and at same time of the start dose.

*High blood pressure*
It is a common condition that affects the body's arteries.It is also called hypotension.If you have high blood pressure,the force of the blood pushing against the artery walls of consistently too high.The heart has to work harder to pump blood.The normal blood pressure is 120/80mmhg.Thus it's considered high when it's 140/90mmhg.It is common but can be serious if not needed.
Most people with high blood pressure may not feel symptoms thus the only way to find out if you have or not is to get checked.

Oral hygiene is a practice of keeping your mouth clean and disease free.Teeths are covered by enamel .Every thin film of bacteria called dental plague builds up on your teeth.The bacteria in plague produce acid's that can harm enamel and cause cavities.Brushing and flossing your teeth prevent decay but once cavity form,avoid further damage and see a dentist immediately.
*How to care for your teeth.*
-Brush your teeth twice a day(morning and night) to protect your teeth from decay .
- Floss regularly.It helps to remove left over food that the brush is unable to remove.
-Eat a well balanced diet.Balance diet help boost the immune system and not just that,it helps strengthen bones and teeth.
- Quit smoking.It increases your risk of gum disease.

There is a right way to brush and floss your teeth everyday .You are risking your teeth to decay by not brushing at night.Thus the right way to brush is ;
- Gently brush your teeth on all sides with a soft bristle brush and fluoride toothpaste . Replace your toothbrush every 2 to 4 months.

*Classes of food.*
There are 7 classes of food and each of these has its function in the human body. We have ; Carbohydrates, proteins,fats and oil,Fiber, minerals,vitamins, water.
1. Carbohydrates.
They are energy giving nutrients . Carbohydrates can be gotten from like: Potatoes,rice, wheat,maize, spaghetti and other starches.
2.Proteins .
They are body building nutrients.This is so because they provide energy.It can be gotten from foods like:meat,legumes,and dairy products.
3.Fats and oil.
They contain fatty acid and it's said that fat regulate energy and help with temperature registration and vitamin absorption.Its gotten from : Fish, vegetables,nuts,eggs, meat,and fruits like avocados.
4.Fiber.
It's said to be a type of carbohydrate that is not absorbed by human beings.However,fiber is needed to keep our digestive system healthy and ready to do it's job.It also help to stabilize cholesterol and glucose levels.It can be gotten from: Oranges,cereals,garlic, vegetables,chai seeds,raspberries.A diet rich in fiber can prevent coronary heart disease, bowel cancer,and diabetes.
5.Minerals.
They are necessary for improving bodily function.They help build muscles, bones and keep fluid balance.It can be gotten from:bread,milk,fish,meat , cereals and dairy.
6.Vitamins
Vitamins are essential in our body as it boost the immune system,help regulate and maintain a healthy body.Can be gotten from:Nuts,milk, vegetables,dairy foods , vegetables,fruits.
7.water.
It is used to create bodily fluids.Human is essentially 80% water thus we need water to keep that balance to survive and stay healthy.Water function to help in nutrients absorption, metabolism, hydration,and temperature regulation .Can be gotten from: Apples, watermelon,cocumber.
Therefore,a healthy human being needs to East a diet that contains at least one of the mentioned class.By so doing,we say you're eating a balanced diet.

*Vaginal Hygiene*
Maintaining a healthy va**nal will help prevent infections and discomfort.unusual changes in va**nal discharge is a sign that there might be a problem.Most women experience uncomfortable,va**nal infections (vaginitis)at one time or another.The area around the entrance of the va**nal (v***a) can also become irritated.Not all va**nal infections are alike and home treatment can worse some types.
The goal of v***a care is to keep the v***a dry and free from irritants.In this way,you can prevent the v***a from becoming red, swollen and irritated.
*How to care for the Vaginal*
1.Use warm water .Clean your va**nal with lukewarm water and after which,dry it up with a soft towel.
2.Avoid sending your fingers inside.The inner section has its very own self cleaning mechanism thus it does not need to be scrubbed .
3.Avoid using soap or other detergents.
The va**nal has a pH level of 3.8 to 4.5 compared to a 5.5 level of the skin.So imagine using soap which is meant for the skin to clean the va**nal it will destroy it's PH.
4.Wear panty liners.
It help absorb va**nal discharge . Discharge is healthy because it's a way of cleaning bacteria from your va**nal . However, colourful and ordoful discharge is a call for concern.Its recommended that women put on cotton pants rather than Nylon.
5.Avoid leaving pads on for long.It is recommended that ,pads be changed at least after every 3 hours.For pads to last longer than this,it predisposes the woman to infections.
6.Iron your underwear before wearing.
After watching and drying your pants ,it's recommended that you iron before use so as to kill all bacterias that most have settled on it.
7.Wash your underwear with soap.
It is recommended that ,soap be used to wash underwear.After washing,it's advisable to soak in Javel water for say 15 minutes after which,rinse and sun them.
8.Clean from inside to outside (From up to down)
By cleaning this way,it helps prevent the deposition of bacteria inside the va**na.Most persons make the mistake of cleaning themselves from outside to inside or from down to up .This will take bacteria from the outside and send inside which will predispose one to infection.
9.Use white tissue to clean your self.
