✨ Meet the Team | Protection Assistant ✨

We’re happy to introduce Enang Ahone Miranda, a Gender, Data, and Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Specialist from Cameroon with over 8 years of experience in international development and humanitarian work.
Miranda joins Girls Excel as our Protection Assistant to support the Programs department within the framework of the
ShieldHer Project implemented in Kossala 5, in partnership with IRC and SIDA.

Prior to joining Girls Excel, she had worked with different international and community-led organisations focusing on gender equality, data-driven programming, and community development for women, girls, and marginalized groups.
Enang brings strong expertise in project design, data analysis, evaluations, reporting, and capacity building, using feminist and evidence-based approaches to strengthen impact and drive positive social change.
Welcome to the team, Enang! 🌍📊✨

💻📵 Digital violence is real—and we’re taking action.

At Girls Excel, protecting women and girls goes beyond physical spaces. It includes the online world, where technology-facilitated abuse is becoming increasingly common.

As an active member of the Limbe GBV & Child Protection Platform, we proudly contributed—both financially and through our team—to the 35th edition of the 16 Days of Activism in Fako, focused on ending digital violence against women and girls.

📣 From radio and TV sensitisation
🏫 to school outreaches
🗣️ and community dialogues
We engaged, educated, and amplified voices—because safety should exist online and offline.
✨ We stand with women and girls in Fako.
✨ We stand against digital violence.
✨ We stand for safer digital spaces.

This is more than a campaign against GBV, it’s our commitment towards a world where every girl/woman is free from harm.

🌸So grateful to share this beautiful media coverage from our last Menstrual Health event in Kumba, organized in partnership with Mares Foundation.

This was a powerful moment for us at Girls Excel as we created a safe, inclusive space for girls and women living with disabilities to learn, share, and access dignified menstrual health resources.

None of this would have been possible without the generous support of our partners who continue to believe in a world where every girl and woman can manage her period with dignity: IGNITE .fr

Together, we’re breaking barriers, expanding access, and making sure no one is left behind. ❤️🌍

Thank you to everyone who continues to stand with us in this
