Know The Truth
"Know The Truth" has come to us from the Lord to deliver us from the end time schemes of the new world order. This is a word based ministry.
THE HARVEST IS PLENTIOUS BUT THE LABOURERS ARE VIEW, WHY NOT MAKE URSELF A LABOURER IN THE VINE YARD OF GOD.
GET UP EARLY IN THE MORNING AND COMMAND YOUR DAY
Are you commanding your mornings?
As a young boy growing up on the island, I would be awaken every morning by my grand mother’s early morning prayers. Having little to no knowledge as to why she was doing what she did, it somehow placed a fear in me, due to her crying and the intensity of her prayer. The question that stood out in my mind was why would she and so many like her place such a command on their morning through prayer?
Coupled with this real life experience, I’ve discovered through the study of the bible that the bible is saturated with men and women of God not only addressing God early in the morning, but God performing great works during the early morning periods. Again, what is so significant about the early mornings spiritually?
A few Biblical accounts of early morning activity would be when the angels hastened Lot and his family early in the morning to leave S***m. Also In this same biblical account it states that Abraham stood before the lord early in the morning (Gen. 19:15, 27). The bible also states that Jesus went to the temple and taught the people early in the morning and that Martha and Mary visited his tomb early in the morning. At this point I was arrested by the thought that there must be some biblical proof that correlates between praying and the early mornings.
Now, the bible states that there is death and life in the power of our tongue, and that we ought to call those things that do not exist now as though they do exist now. In essence, God has given us power via our mouths to command things into existence through prayer and confessions. I now began to partially see why my grandmother was praying with such passion (almost as if she was in a battle) and why she prayed for folks, individually and corporately. However, God through his wisdom pointed out to me in his word the necessity of these prayers and confessions being addressed early in the morning. I must say it was indeed a profound revelation that I’m sure you’ll agree with.
In the book of Job (38:12-13,15), God in this text in speaking to his servant Job said, “Have you commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know “HIS” place; that “IT” might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? God is basically asking Job whether or not he had taken authority or command of his mornings. What is so interesting here is not only the fact that God asked about the commanding of the morning by Job, but he further asked Job if he had caused the dayspring to know his place.
His place! Of course I’m now compelled to wonder if the morning and dayspring are personified as forces working against my day, beginning early in the morning. If this is the case, then I am responsible for putting these forces in their place by commanding what I desire of my mornings via the power of my tongue (Prov. 18:21). However the question still lingers, who is this person that is working in opposition or as an opponent to me during the early morning periods?
Now, before we unveil who this person is, let us look at the consequences of not commanding our mornings and causing the dayspring not to be put in his place. Remember what God originally asked Job? He said, “Have you commanded the morning since thy days or since you were alive? The result of commanding his morning is found in verses 13&15. By commanding the morning and causing the dayspring to be put in its place, this will shake the wicked out of the earth or disrupt his plots, plans, ploys and schemes against you. Additional in verse 15 it states that the light of the wicked will be withheld. The word light in this verse got its origin from the Hebrew word “Or” which is literally defined as morning or day break.
So in essence, God is saying that when we command our mornings and cause the dayspring to be put in its place (which has been personified as the male gender) simultaneously we restrain or restrict his morning… wow! To not do this principle we open our lives to curses. A curse is to be spiritually bound, not able to succeed, prune for failure, disempowered, open to the powers of witchcraft, spell, incantations etc. but this can only happen if we disobey God by not commanding our morning. Deuteronomy 28: 45-46, makes this abundantly clear, and it reads, “Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and pursue thee, and overtake thee, until thou be destroyed; because thou did not listen unto the voice of the lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statues which he commanded thee. They shall be upon thee for a sign and a wonder and upon thy seed for ever. Not only will I be affected by not commanding my morning but my seed or children also…… wow!!
Now let’s see who our early morning opponent is and what gives him the right to oppose us for the morning. Again, you will recall that God asked Job if he commanded the morning and caused the dayspring to be put in his place. Isaiah 14: 12, makes the identity of our opponent abundantly clear; it reads, “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, SON OF THE MORNING!
Wow! What a revelation, Lucifer whom we know to be the present day Satan is in fact the son of the morning, so when God asked Job if he had put him in his place, he was referring to Satan.
As a result of this revelation it is not only clear but important why the bible places emphasis on us not fighting against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places. Satan being the head over this evil kingdom, allot his evil ambitions through his evil spirits to wage war on us in the early morning because he is in fact the son of the morning.
The words of wisdom for today is begin commanding your morning very early in the morning, decreeing that you are above only and not beneath, the head and not the tail. Blessed going out and blessed coming in, highly favored of the lord, with a host of Angels that has been given charge over you to keep you in all your ways and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Conclude by binding all of Satan’s and his host plans that has been assigned against you and all that concerns you and that he and his host are under your feet in Jesus name.
ESSENTIALS OF WINNING PRAYER
"And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. «Luke 11:1
Jesus Christ, our perfect example, owned up to being absolutely dependent on God's help (John. 5:30; 8:28). As we see from the above scripture, He was a man of prayer, which is our principal access to divine help. Jesus' disciples desired to be taught the art of prayer
and He granted their request, not considering it as being foolish or unnecessary.
To pray successfully like Jesus did, there is a need to learn the things that matter most in order to win in prayer.
BE CONFIDENT
Coming to God in prayer is not enough; how you come and the manner you approach Him determines what you get. "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16
To be confident means to be bold. I don't mean putting on a bold face, I mean inner strength, steadfastness and stability, based on an assurance that God is going to help you. Some scriptural examples of confidence in God are seen in the lives of Daniel, the three Hebrew boys (Daniel. 3), Hezekiah (2 Kings. 20) and Paul, to mention a few. God does not expect you to come before him like a miserable battered beggar. He is not a wicked Father. On the contrary, He is ever willing and ready to bless you (Romans. 8:32). So when you approach Him with confidence, He rewards you for it (Hebrew. 10:35).
There are three major ways of building up your confidence in God. The first is
righteousness-consciousness, as opposed to sin-consciousness (Proverbs. 28:1). If you are saved, the blood of Jesus confers on you the grace of righteousness or right standing before God, resulting in unlimited access to His help (2 Corinthians. 5:21). Christians who don't appropriate this provision are sin conscious, and so are always wretched, broken and beaten; their lack of boldness disconnects them from divine help.
The second means of cultivating boldness is by knowledge. It strengthens the inner man. The more of God you know, the more persuaded you are of His help, and the more you can confidently ask Him for it. (Daniel. 11:32; 1 John. 5:14; 2 Timothy. 1:12).
Thirdly, the Holy Spirit helps to build boldness. For example, the transformation of Peter the weakling to the fearless rock was the effect of the manifestation of the Holy Ghost at Pentecost.
BE KINDGOM-MINDED
When the things of God's kingdom matter most to you, you commit God to your welfare even without asking. "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33
When you favour God's kingdom, you turn His favour (help) loose upon your own life (Psalms. 102:13-15). King Solomon (1 Kings. 3) and Nehemiah (Nehemiah. 1) are examples of those who enjoyed God's marvellous help, because of their great love for His kingdom. Their prayers were not self-centred, hence God gave them abundantly more than they asked for. When you win God's love, you have automatic access to His best, because He will manifest Himself to you (John.14:21).
Do you really love God? Do you have a passion for the progress of His kingdom? Does He turn you on? If yes, then show it in your words and deeds. The things you are chasing after desperately in life should be following you naturally (Matthew. 6:33; Psalms. 23:6). The easiest way to triumph is to be kingdom-minded, because even before you ask, He will answer (Isaiah. 65:24).
BE SPECIFIC
When in need of help, frantic crying to God alone will not deliver it to you. You must be able to tell God exactly what type of help you need. Blind Bartimeaus for instance cried to Jesus for help. When Jesus stopped, He asked him to be specific (Mark. 10:46-52).
God responds to what you say in prayer. So, although Jesus saw Bartimeaus' blind eyes, He did not help him until a specific request was made.
When Jesus cursed the fig tree, He did not first discuss the matter with the disciples or report the issue to God. He cursed the fig tree, saying exactly what should happen to it (Matthew. 21:19-21).
Don't just pray for help, be specific about the kind of help you want. God is not an ambiguous God, neither can your needs be a challenge to Him. All things are in His control, so you can afford to be specific.
Note, however, that when you present your specific needs to God, it is necessary to reinforce your requests with His will, that is, His Word (1 John. 5:14). This way, you are not begging in prayer, but asking for what is yours as stated in His will.
HAVE FAITH
When it comes to winning prayer, faith is a must. It is not optional. Any prayer not backed up with faith is not a true prayer. It is unrealistic to even presume to want to receive anything from God without faith, for His Word says:
"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. »Hebrews 11:6
When two blind men asked for help to see, Jesus told them His help was dependant on their faith (Matthew. 9:28-29). Divine help does not come to you based on your tears, prayer posture, length or volume of prayer, but according to your faith. As long as faith is involved in your prayer, the arm of God is stretched forth to help you.
The truth is that the stronger your faith, the shorter your prayer would be, because response from heaven hinges on your believing. There is no mountain on earth that faith cannot overturn (Mark. 11:23-24). Faith is a must, and it is expected to increase so build it up
in you (2 Thessalonians. 1:3; Jude :20).
The major source of faith is the Word (Romans. 10:17). So, if you have a specific need, the first thing to do is to consciously build up your faith from God's Word on that issue.
God has given us the opportunity to ask, seek and knock, with the assurance of getting what we desire (Matthew. 7:7-8). Divine help is not only available; it is obtainable, if you know how to get it. Simply fulfil these conditions, and He is fully committed to helping
you.
God bless you
THE SIN OF PRIDE – (the sin of sins)
What is Pride: the quality of having an excessively high opinion of oneself or one’s importance.
Pride is the sin of sins because it is the number 1 in the list of seven things which God hates. Proverbs 6:16-19
The sin of pride is the sin of sins. It was this sin, we're told, which transformed Lucifer, an anointed cherub of God, the very "seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty, into Satan, the devil, the father of lies, the one for whom Hell itself was created. We're warned to guard our hearts against pride lest we too "fall into the same condemnation as the devil."
The sin of pride keeps men from seeking God as we read in Psalm 10:4: “The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.” Yes, this sin of pride keeps you from seeking after God’s appointed Substitute, the Lord Jesus Christ, because you are self-sufficient. You see no need of another’s righteousness because you are satisfied with the fig-leaf covering of your own. You go about seeking to establish your own righteousness and have never submitted yourself to the righteousness of God. It retards our spiritual progress.
Hosea 7:10 Israel’s arrogance testifies against him, but despite all this he does not return to the LORD his God or search for him.
Therefore being self-sufficient, self-satisfied, and self-righteous, you see no need of seeking Christ, not knowing what Revelation 3:17 says, that you are spiritually wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked.
The sin of pride deceives the heart, Obadiah 1:3 “The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, who shall bring me down to the ground?” The sin of pride is responsible for so much of the confusion, sorrow, heartache, and tragedy in our world today.
Yes, pride in its various guises is an evidence that we are living in the last days, as we are told in II Tim. 3:2,4: “Men shall be lovers of their own selves...boasters, proud...heady, high minded.” So I believe this is a timely message, warning men of the sin of pride, of God’s hatred for it and His judgment against it.
The sin of pride puts us at war with God (the pride of ambition take overcomes us). We see this in the life of Adam and Eve in Gen. 3:6 when they sought to be like gods to know the difference between good and evil. Pride blinded their hearts and eyes as they listened to the voice of Satan and ate of the forbidden fruit; and by this sin of pride and rebellion they threw the whole human race into chaos. Exodus 20:5 says I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God
Pride of ambition has pushed man to aspire for that which God in His sovereignty has withheld from him. Many people today aspire to have great places in life, motivated by the pride of their depraved heart. Jer. 45:5 “Should you then seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them. For I will bring disaster on all people, declares the LORD, but wherever you go I will let you escape with your life.’
The sin of pride produces failure (the pride of position now comes in the place of God and this is sin against God.
Jer. 16:18 “Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before stumbling”. In Exodus 5:2 we read of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, saying to Moses, “Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice?”
Man in his pride is saying the same thing today: Who is God that I should obey His voice? Why should I bow to His authority? Why should I deny self anything? Why should I ask for help? I don’t need God! Oh what a sin pride is, that it makes you stand out against God and say you will not bow to the authority of God.
We all know of Naaman, his position almost led him to hell because at first he would not consent to dipping seven times in the river Jordan at the command of the Lord. He was a l***r and had gone to God’s servant Elisha for healing, but when he heard the terms he went away in a rage because of his position; and would have gone to hell had a soldier of his not talked him into going and dipping seven times in the river Jordan as commanded by the servant of God.
Hear what God is saying to the proud. Obadiah 1:4 “Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD”. Yes, pride has deceived your heart, my friend, into believing that though you fly high now—having plenty, no need of anything or anyone—yet God will bring you down into judgment; for no one can put off forever his reckoning (judgment) day with God.
Conclusively, brothers’ n sisters if indeed we expect to get to Christ and His salvation we must preach about sin. Every man, woman, young person or child ever saved must face the fact of sin, acknowledge it, confess it, forsake it, and repent of it, if he/she ever is to find that salvation which is by faith in Jesus Christ by the marvellous grace of God.
An advice: Jer 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?
