“The Cameroonian Republican Front (CRF)"

The CRF proposes several measures to guarantee the independence of the judiciary in Cameroon:

1 - Constitutional reform: CRF plans to revise the Constitution to strengthen the independence of the judiciary, including establishing mechanisms to protect judges from political and administrative pressure.

2- Reform of the disciplinary system: CRF proposes to reform institutions responsible for disciplining magistrates to ensure transparent and impartial procedures, preventing abuse and protecting judges from retaliation.

3- Improving access to justice: CRF aims to improve access to justice by establishing free legal structures and using paralegals to provide legal assistance to vulnerable persons, ensuring everyone has access to fair justice.

4- Training and capacity building: CRF plans to strengthen training for judges and lawyers to ensure they are well-prepared to perform their functions independently and impartially.

5- Separation of powers: CRF proposes a clearer separation of executive and judicial powers to prevent political interference in the functioning of the judiciary.

These measures aim to create a more independent and just judicial system in Cameroon.
