We're currently producing a new batch of lantern-shaped ceramic tiles – a design that honors the classic lantern silhouette while bringing modern functionality to walls and floors.

The elongated, curved form creates visual rhythm that standard rectangular tiles simply can't match. Each tile features that distinctive "waist" – narrower in the middle, flared at top and bottom – mimicking the elegant profile of traditional Asian lanterns.

Our 75x300mm handmade tile features a positioning glue + dry grain (干粒) finish – a technique that creates an incredibly rich, textured surface. Unlike standard glazes that feel smooth and uniform, dry grain adds a subtle, gritty texture that catches light differently from every angle.

What makes this tile special:

75x300mm format – The elongated rectangle creates visual rhythm. Stack vertically for height, lay horizontally for flow, or arrange in classic brick bond.

Here‘s how our 600x1200mm Wood-Look Tiles come to life:

1. Raw Material Batching – Premium minerals (kaolin, quartz sand, feldspar) are precisely weighed and mixed. The quality of this body directly affects the tile‘s strength and stability .

2. Pressing & Forming – Using high-pressure hydraulic presses, the mixture is compressed into the large 600x1200mm format. Consistent pressure ensures uniform density – no weak spots, no warping .

3. Digital Printing – High-resolution inkjet technology recreates every wood grain detail: knots, rings, annual growth lines. The result is natural, lifelike, and nearly indistinguishable from real timber .

4. Glazing – A protective glaze is applied, enhancing durability, scratch resistance, and ease of cleaning .

5. High-Temperature Sintering – Tiles travel through kilns at ~1200°C (2192°F) for several hours. This vitrifies the body, locking in the design and creating a waterproof, frost-proof surface .

6. Rectifying & Calibrating – Edges are precision-cut for consistent sizing, enabling seamless large-format installation with minimal grout lines .

7. Quality Control & Packing – Every tile inspected before being carefully packed for shipment.
