Usage:

“出马”原义是骑马出战杀敌，引申为亲自出面去做事。
"出马(chūmǎ)" originally meant riding to the war field to kill enemies. It now means attending to the matter personally.

Sentences:

1、Zhèfèn hétong duì gōngsī hěn zhòngyào, CEO míngtiān huì qīnzì chūmǎ qù tánpàn.
这份合同对公司很重要，CEO明天会亲自出马去谈判。
This contract is very important for the company. Therefore, the CEO will hold the negotiation by himself tomorrow.

2、Zhǐyào tā chūmǎ, shénme wèntí dōu néng jiějué.
只要他出马，什么问题都能解决。
Any problem will be solved as long as he takes charge of it.

hǎo yǔ zhī shí jié，dāng chūn nǎi fā shēng。
好 雨 知 时 节，当 春 乃 发 生。
suí fēng qián rù yè，rùn wù xì wú shēng。
随 风 潜 入 夜，润 物 细 无 声。
yě jìng yún jù hēi，jiāng chuán huǒ dú míng。
野 径 云 俱 黑，江 船 火 独 明。
xiǎo kàn hóng shī chù，huā zhòng jǐn guān chéng。

好雨：指春雨，及时的雨。

zhè yīchǎng yǔ jiù hǎosì xuǎn hǎo shíhòu，zhèngdāng chūntiān wànwù shēngzhǎng zhī shí jiù suíjí jiànglín。
这一场雨就好似选好时候，正当春天万物生长之时就随即降临。
xìyǔ suízhe chūnfēng zài yèlǐ qiāoqiāo láidào，tā mò mò de zīrùn wànwù，méiyǒu yīdiǎn shēngyīn。
细雨随着春风在夜里悄悄来到，它默默地滋润万物,没有一点声音。
yǔyè zhōng，tiányějiān de xiǎolù hēimángmáng，zhǐyǒu jiāngzhōng yúchuán shàng dēnghuǒ dúzì míngliàng zhe。
雨夜中，田野间的小路黑茫茫，只有江中渔船上灯火独自明亮着。

在《庄子》一书中有这样一个故事：
In the Chinese classic 《Chuangtze》, there is a legend like this:

很久很久以前，北海里住着一条巨大的鱼，名字叫鲲 （Kun）。没有人知道它到底有多大。这条鱼能够变成鹏（Peng），一种庞大的鸟，有几百万米长。鹏鸟展开翅膀就像天空里的一大片云。它能一口气从北海飞到地球另一边的南海。当它展翅高飞的时候，它可以冲上90000哩（45000公里）的高空。
Once upon a time, a gigantic fish named Kun lived in the northern sea. No one knew how large it actually was. This fish could change itself into the enormous bird called Peng (roc), measuring thousands of kilometers in length. When the bird was spreading its wings, it looked like huge clouds in the sky. It could, in one stretch, fly from the northern sea to the southern sea on the other side of the globe and soaring up to 90000 li (45000 kilometers) in the heaven.

毫无疑问，这种鸟一次能飞过很长的距离。人们用鹏程万里这个成语来祝愿别人事业顺利，前途光明。
The bird can surely fly over a long distance without stop. Now people use this idiom to with others have a long career or a bright future.

乐不思蜀 (lèbùsīshǔ)

三国时，刘备建立蜀国。他死后，儿子刘禅继位。因为刘禅昏庸无能， 公元263年，蜀国被魏国灭掉了。刘禅投降后，魏王让他在魏国都城洛阳居住。当时，魏国掌大权的是大臣司马昭。在一次宴会上，司马昭故意安排表演蜀国的歌舞。蜀国原来的大臣想到灭亡的故国，都非常难过,刘禅却对司马昭说：“此间乐,不思蜀。”意思是“这里很快乐,我一点儿也不想念蜀国。”
In the Three Kingdoms period, Liu Bei established the state of Shu. After his death, his son Liu Chan succeeded to the throne. Liu Chan was a fatuous and incompetent king that his was soon overthrown by the state of Wei in 263 B.C. After Liu Chan’s surrender, the king of Wei allowed him to live in Luoyang, the capital of Wei. At that time Sima Zhao was the person with most power, who deliberately arranged a dance performance of the Shu state on a banquet, and invited Liu Chan and his former ministers. All of the ministers couldn’t help feeling sad about their perished nation at the sight of the dance, but only Liu Chan, the former king, expressed his satisfaction of being in Wei and he missed his homeland no more.
