Last October 8th, Fita was asked to rescue yet another dog in distress found on the streets of Wuhan... The lady who alerted us about this dog said he was visibly abandoned and in need of help- in her own words "the dog is covered in fleas and looks starved" but in spite of being informed that Fita has over 600 dogs to care for, little to no donations and no job, she chose not to even contribute one dollar towards the care of this additional dog...😢

Fita's ❤️ is just too big for her own good and she can NEVER turn away from an animal in need... in her own words "If I don't help this dog, it will haunt me in my dreams...I cannot turn a blind eye to an animal in need"; This is the life of a rescuer- constant struggles, trying to come up with clever ways of managing to keep her animals fed, cleaned and cared for with little resources and a growing crippling bank loan of 1 million RMB ($250,000 CAD)❗Heartbreaking but true💔
