The meaning of the crown of feathers🦜
In many indigenous cultures, the chiefs, leaders and medicine men and women will wear a crown of feathers. In Putumayo, there are many indigenous tribes and 5 principal tribes that drink Yagé. Taita, meaning “father”, is a title passed down generation to generation and is of the highest responsibility and honor in the path of the Yagé. Taitas traditionally are given a crown of feathers to wear and carry the power of nature with them while they work. When in ceremony, each feather and detail on the crown come to life. The feathers on the crown are mainly from the macaw, or guacamayo. The guacamayo is one of the three guardians of the Yagé and is responsible for the protection of the celestial realms. Guacamayos are messengers and transporters of light and color. This crown is traditional of the Siona tribe.
The crown is a symbol of wisdom, of color, of life, and of love. 🦜🌞🌿
Thank you to all the Taitas, Maimas, wisdom keepers, elders, and guardians of the native traditions.

A couple videos from our latest project🎵🥁🪈🪕
We are so excited about our Musical Roots Recovery Project, an initiative to provide lessons and instruments to indigenous youth so that they may be carriers of the musical lineage and tradition, as well as open opportunities and skill sets to these children as individuals. The music is an integral part of the native Amazonian communities and is a powerful healer that carries the frequency of harmony, joy, and love.
Thank you for the donation to be able to execute this beautiful project♥️🌿. We are excited to continue sharing progress on this initiative.
