Maybe it wasn’t my best performance, but this time I competed with all my heart for a deeper reason… and I made it real for him.

This one was for you, Coach, mentor, and friend.
Competing with a knot in my throat was one of the hardest things. So many raw memories kept coming to my mind… memories of the dreams we once shared together.

It was difficult to keep all my focus on the competition while carrying so much emotion inside, but we did it. And deep in my heart, I know he was there with me every step of the way. Rest in peace 🤍🕊️

Also, I’m truly grateful to have lived this experience with such amazing people. Thank you all for being part of this journey 🫶

🦈 Construyendo una pared personalizada… una de mí y para mí. Esta vez, aunque sea una segunda, porque la principal está en mi casita. Esa donde mi mamá nunca se cansaría de explicar cada medalla y trofeo, donde mi papá recordaría con precisión cada fecha y cada historia, y donde mi hermano esperaría con ansias ser el primero en compartir cualquier publicación que salga de mí. Esa pared está llena de amor, de orgullo, de hogar.

Pero esta nueva pared tiene otro tipo de valor. Es el reflejo de mis pasos cuando he tenido que avanzar sola, de las lágrimas que se secaron sin testigos y de los logros que se construyeron con la fuerza que solo la experiencia de la vida puede darte. No es solo una pared, es un rincón que guardaré en el alma. No por el lugar pero por lo que significa🥰
