IMPORT/EXPORT Performance

Today, on the second day of our EXPORT program, we dove deep into body poetics and the history of performance art.

At , artist Marina Marković led her workshop “There Is No Reality Besides Corporeality”, where participants explored the body under constraint; through repetition, proximity, duration, and interruption.

Later, at Artget Gallery , Ana Simona Zelenović traced a “Short History of Performance Art as a History of Resistance”, mapping the political and feminist genealogies of the field across ex-Yugoslavia, from the early 20th century to today.

Tomorrow we move into new terrain: We conclude our educational EXPORT program with Maja Simišić’s workshop Restroy (SOLD OUT!) and we start warming up our IMPORT artworks program with the opening of the exhibition Eclissi Urbane / Urban Eclipses by Maria Novella Tattanelli and Laura Sgherri
