📝 Welcome, Aneek Das 🇮🇳

From India to Italy, and now to Serbia — Aneek joins ADRA Serbia as an ESC Humanitarian Aid Volunteer.

In his role, Aneek will support our humanitarian operations by contributing to logistics, distribution activities, and community engagement. His tasks include assisting in the organization of donations and aid supplies, supporting distribution days, and contributing to outreach with local partners and socially responsible businesses.

Prepared to Respond

ADRA Serbia hosted the ADRA Core Emergency Response Team (ERT) Training, organised by ADRA Europe, co-organized by ADRA International, bringing together 24 participants from 14 ADRA Country Offices and one representatives of local Seventh-day Adventist Churches from across Europe.

The training took place from February 2-6, 2026, in Belgrade. The 4.5-day training was designed to help national offices activate their National Emergency Management Plan (NEMP) under pressure and to strengthen ADRA’s overall emergency preparedness and response capacity.

Over 4.5 days, participants worked through a simulated flood response along the Danube River, applying National Emergency Management Plans in a practical, hands-on setting.

We also celebrated 20 years of ADRA’s ERT training program — a milestone reflecting a long-term commitment to preparedness.

Our ESC Humanitarian Aid volunteers, Muhsin and Sofia, also participated in the training, further strengthening their capacity to support emergency response efforts.
