That was also one of the questions at the Algotech Digital Day conference, where we shared real, hands-on experience instead of theory.

💬 Our Head of Operations at SEE Digital, Biljana Bakoc, spoke about practical implementation: how solutions work in real environments, how SEED is evolving within the UNIQA Group, and what the next phase of collaboration with Algotech looks like as AI moves from concept to daily operations.

👁️ From a customer perspective, the conference offered a clear view of how AI, CX, and digital systems actually function inside organisations — with all the complexity and real trade-offs that come with them.

⚙️ One of the highlights was also the panel on enterprise AI adoption, where Vladimir Simunovic, Chief Technology & Operating Officer and Member of the Regional Executive Board at UNIQA SEE, joined Alan Nichol and Borislav Miljanovic, with the discussion expertly moderated by Tihomir Bajić.

The conversation focused on how AI initiatives can be translated into measurable business value, what it takes to build pragmatic and scalable AI strategies, and why early risk recognition is critical to avoiding common implementation pitfalls.

👉 What stood out most was not the hype. But the clarity! AI is not a project anymore. It’s an operating layer.

And the real question is no longer if companies will adopt it, but how responsibly and how effectively they will scale it.

✨ Holiday Magic for Our Little Ones 🎅

For us, the holiday magic begins with our sweetest and youngest members. We organized a special festive gathering for our little ones, turning the office into a creative workshop where some of the most beautiful holiday cards were created. With the help of a very special guest, Santa Claus, our little ones even managed to save the presents from the mischievous Grinch.

Filled with laughter and joy, we created moments that the children – and their parents – will remember for a long time. 😊

It was yet another lovely reminder that UNIQA is not just a place where we work, but a community that cares, connects, and celebrates meaningful moments together with the families of our employees.
