Our national basketball time is starting today with their European Championship road. Having in mind that we've been very successful in previous competitions and that we have back-to-back NBA and Euroleague MVP-s on our team, expectations are extremely high (let's be honest, only gold will satisfy us 😁)

The battle of Kosovo occurred on 28th June of 1389. It was a decisive battle between Serbia and the Ottoman Empire. It's hard to think of a parallel European example, in which a specific military defeat is taken as such a defining moment in a nation's history. For Serbs, it was a noble defeat which is considered both a tragedy and a source of national pride, an excellent example of a nation bravely defending its freedom, valuing it more than life itself.
