How Does DepositFree Work with Cardoo?

At Cardoo, we eliminate security deposits in rentals, making the process smoother for both businesses and customers. Instead of blocking customer funds, our DepositFree solution provides rental companies with a bank card that covers deposit-related risks. Here’s how it works:

1️⃣ Cardoo provides a bank card that covers all deposit-related risks.
2️⃣ You decide whether to offer DepositFree as an option or apply it to your entire fleet.
3️⃣ The customer pays a service fee based on the rental duration and deposit amount.
4️⃣ In case of excess charges, you submit the necessary documents and, after Cardoo’s approval, charge the amount from our card—within the deposit limit.
5️⃣ Cardoo handles the rest – once approved, the rental company charges Cardoo’s card, and we take care of the soft collection process.

The process remains simple. If excess charges occur, the rental company first requests payment from the customer. If the customer refuses, the company submits proof to Cardoo. Upon approval, the amount is deducted from Cardoo’s card, eliminating financial and operational burdens for our partners.
