Impact Tech Ltd has received a €1million grant for x-NBA: an eXplainable AI platform augmented with automated Next Best Action generation, from the Research & Innovation Foundation (RIF) following a successful application to the RESTART 2016-2020 programme under the INNOVATE call, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.

The €1 million funding is the third time Impact Tech Ltd has received a grant in the last three years following the €1million grant for ILMA - Intelligent Lead Management platform awarded by the Research & Innovation Foundation (RIF) and the €1.7M grant awarded by Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange, Horizon 2020 programme, in July 2019 as a partner in the aiD project.

The general objective of the project is to build a novel explainable AI platform for customer eXperience (CX), which aims to provide an affordable and automated way to improve internal operations and reduce operational inefficiencies of Cypriot and international SMEs. The platform, x-NBA, will integrate and normalize data from multiple sources, i.e., CRMs, telecom providers, payment gateways, marketing platforms, and provide explanation for machine learning (ML) prediction tasks such as lead scoring, customer lifetime-value and churn prediction. Moreover, based on all input data plus the corresponding predictions and explanations, the x-NBA platform will decide and present to the user a “Next Best Action”, which will be an actionable recommendation for the next step to be performed by the user to optimize any expected output.
