GCC in partnership with Intersec, announces the successful implementation and activation of CY-ALERT, Cyprus’s new National Public Warning System. The system marks a significant milestone in strengthening the country’s emergency communications capabilities.

Implemented across all four mobile network operators, the system enables authorities to deliver real-time, geo-targeted emergency alerts directly to citizens through advanced Cell Broadcast technology, helping ensure timely access to critical information when it matters most.

As environmental and natural challenges continue to impact communities worldwide, the ability to communicate quickly and effectively during emergencies is becoming increasingly important. CY-ALERT represents a significant step forward in strengthening national preparedness, supporting public safety, and protecting lives and property.
