Ocean-blue ganache, sandy biscuit crumbs, shells, starfish, flowers, an anchor and a wooden-style name plaque.

Basically a tiny edible beach, minus the actual sand in your shoes and the emotional damage of trying to park near the sea in August.

A wine barrel cake for George, complete with grapes, corks and a personalised 1993 label 💜

This one was very much giving “birthday, but make it vineyard.”

The barrel panels, label and corks were all handmade from sugarpaste, and yes, making cake look like wood is one of those oddly satisfying jobs that makes me forget I’ve been standing for seven hours.

A very sweet storybook-style cake for Evelyn 💜

Featuring hand-cut lettering, little bees, blue butterflies, a honey pot, a suspiciously emotional ribbon quote, and a few familiar childhood faces made entirely from sugarpaste.

Yes, the ribbon did test my patience.

Yes, I did keep going because apparently I enjoy making my own life harder.
