Blood pressure info.
For years I thought I had low blood pressure. On giving blood I was told no u have high blood pressure. my right arm doesn’t usually read so was weird!. So she then took left arm (normal for me was low). After monitoring
(One arm 142/81 other 81-60) both I spoke to my Dr who contacted a vascular Dr. Turns out my low pressure was due to a blockage I had subclavian steal syndrome which in time would require a stent. Spoke to my family thought get it done before stoke/heart attack. Who said giving blood just helps the recipient!!!
Anyway off I went and wow what a difference in a week. I don’t feel tired or dizzy as blood flowing into my brain where it was being stolen from! I thought it was all due to work/moving/other things but hey no!
Stent was put in via thigh (longer recovery time). Hence I am not in the office!!
My message is: get both arms checked at least once a year. Maybe like me you will find a blockage you never had any clue about having. 💕💕💕
