💥 ROK PLNÝ ZMĚN 💥
Rok 2025 jedním slovem? Horská dráha🎢. Skrze sociální sítě se často snažíme prezentovat jen ten krásný život, ale na pozadí vždy běží ten opravdový a syrový – se všemi vzlety i pády📈📉. Proto bych si přál, abychom v nadcházejícím roce nacházeli více upřímnosti sami k sobě a nebáli se připustit zranitelnost i chyby, které nás dělají lidmi. Aby když přemýšlíme nad tím, koho všeho máme rádi a koho si v životě vážíme, nezapomínali jsme nikdy sami na sebe.🫵❤️ Vztah se sebou je sice jeden z nejtěžších, ale zároveň ten nejdůležitější, který máme. Letošní rok byl pro mě časem nových cest od Evropy až po Ameriku. Všude jsem fotil a pracoval, ale ještě více jsem hledal kusy vlastního já. Můj osobní život prošel po deseti letech turbulencí, kterou jsme symbolicky právě v době výročí už neustáli💔❤️‍🩹. I přesto jsem vděčný za každý jeden společný den. Netuším, jaký záměr život dál má, ale rozhodl jsem se nechat vést řekou. Už ji nebudu tlačit, nechám se unášet jejím proudem. 🙌 Hned začátkem roku odcházím žít a fotit na nějaký čas do Berlína, abych našel další chybějící část sebe, kterou jsem někde po cestě poztrácel. Rok 2026 bude v něčem naprosto nový, intenzivní a náročný, ale díky tomu s vědomím, že člověk stále skutečně žije. Pojďme si přát změny, které transformují vše nefunkční v nás i kolem nás. Nebojme se vracet do svého nitra – není to sobectví, je to nezbytná sebeláska 🙏. Každý z nás se s něčím pere pod maskou úsměvu a úspěchu, tak se o tom nebojme mluvit a sdílet to. Život je krásná věc, jen nám nikdo neslíbil snadnou cestu, ani žádný zítřek. Pojďme se prát s novými výzvami, dokud běží čas, protože začít znovu tak můžeme kdykoliv a s čímkoli, pracovně i osobně. 💥 A YEAH OF CHANGE 💥
2025 in one word? A roller coaster🎢. Through social media, we often try to present only the beautiful side of life, but in the background, there is always the real, raw life—with all its highs and lows📈📉. That is why I wish for all of us to find more honesty within ourselves in the coming year and not be afraid to admit the vulnerability and mistakes that make us human. When we think about who we love and who we value in our lives, please let’s never forget about ourselves. 🫵❤️ The relationship with oneself is one of the hardest, yet the most important one we have. This year has been a time of new journeys for me, from Europe to America. I was photographing and working everywhere, but in reality, I was mostly searching for pieces of my own self. After ten years, my personal life went through a turbulence that we unfortunately didn’t survive—symbolically, right at the ten-year anniversary. 💔❤️‍🩹 I have no idea what intentions life has for me next, but I’ve decided to let the river lead me. I won’t push it anymore; I’ll let myself drift with the current.🙌 Right at the beginning of the year, I’m leaving for a month in Berlin to find another missing piece of myself that I lost somewhere along the way. 2026 will be entirely new in some way—intense and demanding—but because of that, it comes with the realization that one is still truly alive. Let’s wish for changes that transform everything dysfunctional within us and around us. Let’s not be afraid to return to our inner selves—it’s not selfishness, it’s necessary self-love. 🙏 Each of us is fighting something behind the mask of smiles and success, so let’s not be afraid to talk about it and share. Life is a beautiful thing, but no one promised us an easy path, nor any tomorrow. Let’s tackle new challenges while time is still running, because we can start over at any time with anything, both professionally and personally. 🇨🇿 Narativ série All My Strangers mapuje cyklickou povahu lidských střetnutí: přerod z úplného cizince na člověka blízkého a nevyhnutelné opětovné odcizení. Každé takové setkání, nezatížené společnou minulostí, v sobě nese dokonalou čistotu a zároveň skryté riziko neznámého. Na Západním pobřeží Spojených států, v zemi postavené právě na příbězích cizinců, aranžuji obrazy, které zkoumají tyto situace a jejich dějiště. Současně se tak otevírá možnost vstoupit do soukromého prostoru scén, s otázkou, je-li vůbec možné v tomto prchavém momentu nalézt trvalý kus domova v každém cizinci, jehož příběhu se dotkneme. A co když v každém cizinci a místu nehledáme domov, ale jen fragmenty sebe samých, rozeseté po světě? 🙏 Věnováno všem mým cizincům.

🇺🇸 The narrative of the series All My Strangers maps the cyclical nature of human encounters: the transformation from complete strangers to intimate companions, and the inevitable drift toward alienation. Each initial meeting, unburdened by a shared past, carries within it a perfect purity, and at the same time, the hidden risk of the unknown. On the West Coast of the United States, in a land built on the stories of strangers, I compose images that examine these encounters and their settings. The viewer is invited to step into the private spaces where the scenes take place. They then face the question of whether, in such fleeting moments, it’s possible to find a lasting sense of home in every stranger whose story we touch. And what if, in every stranger and every place, we are not searching for home at all, but rather for fragments of ourselves, scattered across the world? 🙏 Dedicated to All My Strangers.
