😊 It’s interesting to know what Spanish songs are actually about.

Lately, the lyrics of some of them have really surprised me:

👀👀👀 Si tu marido te pega
dale golpes tú también
si no puedes con la mano
métele con la sartén.

Which means:

👀👀👀 If your husband hits you,
hit him back too.
If you can’t do it with your hand,
hit him with the frying pan 😂

So it’s definitely better to know what we are singing about!

🎙️ Práce v lekci se začátečníkem: první nahrávka písně Slow Down od Imany.

🎹 Učíme se zpívat jednoduchou melodii a zaměřujeme se na legato - hladké a plynulé spojování tónů bez přerušení.

🎵 Zároveň hlídáme dechovou oporu, správné nádechy a nezapomínáme pořádně otvírat pusu!

🌸 Je to obrovské množství úkolů naráz, ale zvládáme to skvěle! 🎶

🎵Working on the «See I’ll be on my way» riff with my talented 10-year-old student.

🎙️The whole riff is built around the minor pentatonic, which we mastered long ago and are now training.
🎙️ We’re singing the entire exercise using chest voice / thick folds, without transitioning into head voice / thin folds.
