Don't stress too much with the grammar and learn from your mistakes. When people correct you or when you hear some phrase that's often repeated, write it down with explanation, pin it somewhere where you are guaranteed to see it multiple times a day and practice it. Do this with multiple things at once - no more than 10 concepts at once though (or how many are you able to keep in mind), and once you are comfortable with some replace them.
