The crypt where a group of the bravest soldiers had their final stand during the events of Operation Anthropoid. The bullet holes from that day are still there. An incredibly powerful and must visit place in Prague.

The two men surrendering are not speaking German, they are speaking Czech saying: "Nestřílejte. Já jsem nikoho nezabil. Já jsem Čech.", which translates to: "Don't shoot. I haven't killed anyone. I'm Czech." Many men of occupied countries were drafted and forced to fight unwillingly in the N**i Wehrmacht during the war. If they didn't comply they were killed. Unfortunately many were still killed...
