Trainers from 15 of our subsidiaries gathered at Prague HQ on May 18 for the second edition of the 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 (𝗚𝗧𝗦). This time, the session drew more trainees.

And a year of results to look back on. The headline result from 2025 was a close to 30% customer feedback response rate increase, with trainers consistently recognised for professionalism and depth of knowledge.

And the second edition built from there. We worked on:
🔺 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿: introduced in 2025 and scaling now, the HQ-led session builds around standardised course concepts and hands-on materials, so application engineers from every branch leave equipped to deliver them. No reinventing the wheel.
🔺 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀 & 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗤&𝗔: trainers across regions trading what actually works in the room.

In practice, a customer in Singapore, Texas, or anywhere else gets the same training quality they would in Prague. A consistent ComAp standard, locally delivered.

That's exactly what Frantisek Poupe, our Global Technical Support and Training Manager, had in mind when GTS launched last year. Two editions in, he's sending out huge thanks to every trainer who flew in. None of it works without them. This is exactly what moves the work forward.

Cannot wait to have them all back at HQ next year for round three.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗛𝗤 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗲𝘁-𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿

Application Engineers from our offices around the world gathered at Prague HQ last week, May 19–21, for the annual Global Application Engineering Summit.

The three days were packed with meetups, presentations and workshops, our chance to bring them into one room with HQ teams, swap lessons from the field and trade use cases that haven't reached every team yet.

This year's agenda focused on three threads:
🔺 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲: practical use cases and hands-on workshops
🔺 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: real project debriefs from across the network, including a SiteSIM workshop
🔺 𝗦𝗲𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: Marine, Power Generation and Hybrid Microgrids

When asked what landed best, attendees kept coming back to the AI workshops, the SiteSIM session and segment updates.

Beyond the sessions, the team got out for a scavenger hunt around Prague, in teams with plenty of friendly competition and laughs along the way. By all accounts, it was the part of the week everyone enjoyed and will recall, too.

Thanks to everyone who flew in, presented, asked the hard questions and stayed late comparing notes. It's great to know the conversations continue on customer sites.
