Confusion, Recalibration, and a Little Chaos

🌿 A few months ago, I stepped into my mum’s garden. Bare feet in the grass, coffee in hand, lavender swaying in the morning breeze. And I just… paused.

The last six months felt like driving with a GPS that keeps saying “recalculating” …deadlines shifting, ideas popping up, client requests turning corners I wasn’t expecting. I was moving, hustling, trying to follow the path, and wondering if the next turn actually exists.

Business, visibility, life… it all felt heavy. The usual “do more, post more, push harder” advice suddenly felt exhausting.

So I pressed pause. I listened. I asked: What truly matters?

✨ Work that lights me up
✨ Serving in a way that feels human
✨ Rhythms that fit me, not a formula

What’s emerging feels quieter, grounded, and… honestly, more aligned.

✨ Slow is strategic
✨ Presence beats performance
✨ Depth over dopamine

Yesterday felt like a deep breath.

I spent the day at Wellness Day for Women organised by Harper’s Bazar CZ at the Mandarin Oriental Prague… a beautifully curated event full of inspiring talks, calm, thoughtful workshops, and such a warm, elegant atmosphere.

✨ The kind of space where you’re reminded of who you are beneath the to-do lists.

It was nourishing in every sense… a gentle refill of the creative well.

I used to think I had to be more polished and proper and serious, to be “professional” photographer.

Smile just right. Say the right thing. Fit the “brand.”

Until I realised something that changed everything:

What people resonate with… is truth. Your real and your energy.

And it’s not always tidy or shiny or perfect.

It’s the messy laugh and messy in between moments.

The pause before you speak.

The way your eyes light up when you talk about why you do what you do.

That’s what I photograph. That’s what I design around.

That’s what I help you share.

Because people don’t connect with perfect.

They connect with presence, energy and your truth.

Dřív jsem si myslela, že abych byla “profesionální” fotografka, musím být uhlazená, správná, seriózní.

Usmívat se tak akorát. Říkat ty správné věci. Zapadat do “brandu”.

Až jsem si uvědomila něco, co změnilo všechno:

Lidi nereagují na dokonalost.

Lidi reagují na pravdu. Na tvoje “real” a tvoji energii.

A ta často není uhlazená nebo naleštěná.

Je to ten rozesmátý chaos a ticho mezi větami.

Ten moment před tím, než něco řekneš.

To, jak se ti rozsvítí oči, když mluvíš o tom, proč to děláš.

Tohle fotím.

Kolem toho navrhuju.

S tím ti pomáhám.

Protože lidi nepřitahuje dokonalost.

Lidi přitahuje tvoje energie, pravda a nedokonalost.
