Cheers Sofa a Hiroi Lunge Chair v další realizaci 🛋️

Our •around table• is being listed among the three finalists of the awards in the category Art/Experimental Product Design 🙌

Handcrafted in collaboration with .cz, the table •around• is made from recycled stonemasonry remnants, clay, and water – no cement additives, just natural materials. The tabletop is polished rammed earth, and the leg samples a rammed earth wall.

Our •around table• has received the .makesense Award in the Product Design category! 🟣

Handcrafted in collaboration with .cz, the •around• table is made from recycled stonemasonry remnants, clay, and water — no cement additives, just natural materials. It also includes scraps of Slivenec marble, typical of Prague’s mosaic pavements, and Lipov marble, used on the Bull Staircase of Prague Castle designed by architect Josip Plečnik. 🐂

Milí kolegové a kamarádi,

naše duo vstupuje do další etapy své profesní dráhy. Po letech intenzivní společné práce na návrzích autorského nábytku, spoluprací s domácími i zahraničními značkami a také na designu instalací a interiérů pro firemní a privátní klienty jsme se rozhodli studio ukončit a vydat vlastní cestou. Začínáme tvořit primárně sami na sebe, spolupráci si nicméně udržíme pro krátkodobé projekty a design konzultace s mottem TEMPORARY CONTEMPORARY.

Chceme moc poděkovat všem, kdo byli toho součástí – vážíme si toho. Vidíme se TEMPORARY CONTENPORARY 👋🏻👋🏻

We’re heading our own way 💔

Dear colleagues and friends,

our duo JanskyDundera is entering a new chapter of its professional journey. After years of working closely together on original furniture design, collaborations with both Czech and international brands, and on installations and interiors for private and corporate clients, we’ve decided to close the studio and continue independently. We’ll keep our collaboration alive through short-term projects and design consultations under the motto TEMPORARY CONTEMPORARY.

Bolfánek landscape furniture 🌲

God is in the detail – or perhaps Wolfgang is in the detail? The name 'Bolfánek' is a Czechified form of the name Wolfgang, referring to the bishop of Regensburg who spent the night at this place in the year 973. The cast aluminum rods have a characteristic rounding at the ends, echoing the shape of a pilgrim’s crook.

Modular benches, signposts, information boards, and waste bins – we installed our new set of landscape furniture at the Bolfánek lookout tower near Chudenice.

Part of the furniture was created using the technology of casting aluminum into sand molds. This allowed for a higher degree of sculptural shaping and opened the way to a more poetic, artistic solution that harmonizes with both the surrounding landscape and the nearby tower.

Freshly installed at the neo-Gothic Bolfánek lookout tower in the municipality of Chudenice, our new landscape furniture includes benches, a trash bin, a directional signpost, and an information board.

The aesthetics of the cast-aluminum furnishings draw on the period in which the Bolfánek complex was established, yet their final form is timeless.
