Plates are not always visible, readable, or even present. In real traffic, up to 10 percent of vehicles can appear plate less because of regional rules, temporary tags, camera angles, lighting, or drivers who intentionally avoid identification.

This is why plate based detection alone is no longer enough. CAMMRA AI combines LPR with MMR and vehicle fingerprinting to detect and classify vehicles even when the plate is missing or unreadable, so no vehicle is overlooked.
