The star of the second episode of our podcast is Bohuslav Dohnal, the founder of Revolgy.
This Czech company has been on the market for 26 years now. At a time when the IT market was on the rise, Revolgy managed to catch the jet stream and take over the market, not just in Czechia, but also worldwide.
Revolgy was a remote-first company even before Covid. Why? One word: effectiveness.
💡 Do not underestimate the power of online meetings. It brings effectiveness into your sales process. Instead of 3-4 meetings a day and the transfer in between, you can pull off 10 remotely. Thanks to its functioning process, Revolgy has now spread to roughly 40 countries, hiring local sales guys.
"Personal contact is valuable though, especially with big deals," Dohnal reminds us. "Not everything can be done and discussed online." That is why Revolgy throws regular sales team meetups on different locations in Europe.

LINET is a Czech company that took over the world of medical beds. How they did do it?
They have partners worldwide and apply different business models according to the regions. Petr Foit, the Global Sales Director, carries much of this work. And obviously, building sales teams is a scientific discipline, this guy is good at it.
🎙 In the first episode of , our own podcast series, Jakub Hon asked Petr what criteria he considers in sales rep candidates. This was the answer:
→ the sole guts feeling must be positive, it's more important than a fancy resume
→ he prefers to hire juniors that are built into seniors inside LINET as a company
→ they must be teachable, hungry to grow
→ young by their ideas, not necessarily by age
→ they must be born leaders, or have the desire to become leaders
