The Dancing House — a modern symbol of Prague
Amid Prague’s Gothic and Baroque architecture, the Dancing House stands out as strikingly modern. Completed in 1996, it was designed by architects Frank Gehry and Vlado Milunić. Its unique curves resemble a pair of dancers, earning it the nickname “Ginger and Fred” after Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Today, the Dancing House is home to offices, an art gallery, and a rooftop restaurant with panoramic views of the Vltava. It is a testament to how contemporary design can coexist with the historic character of Prague.

Petřín Tower — Prague’s Eiffel Tower
On Petřín Hill stands a tower built in 1891, inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Although it is only 63 meters tall, its hilltop location gives the impression of being on a skyscraper. Visitors can climb 299 steps or take the elevator to the top. From there, the panorama of Prague unfolds — St. Vitus Cathedral, the sea of red rooftops, and the winding Vltava River. At the foot of the tower, there is a mirror maze and peaceful parkland, perfect for a stroll. Petřín Tower is one of the best spots to admire Prague from above and soak in its breathtaking views.

Josefov — Prague’s Jewish Quarter
Prague’s Jewish Quarter is a unique world where tragic history, mystical legends, and cultural heritage intertwine. Six historic synagogues remain here, including the Old-New Synagogue, which has been active since the 13th century, and the Pinkas Synagogue, now a memorial to Holocaust victims. The Old Jewish Cemetery, with its thousands of leaning tombstones, leaves a deep impression. The most famous legend of Josefov is that of the Golem, created by Rabbi Loew through mystical rituals to protect the Jewish community. Today Josefov is not only a historic site but also a lively neighborhood with charming streets, museums, and an aura of mystery that captivates every visitor.

Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock
Old Town Square is the beating heart of historic Prague. Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance buildings stand side by side here, but the square’s most famous feature is the Astronomical Clock. Installed in the 15th century, it still works to this day. Every hour, crowds gather to watch the unique show: Death rings a bell, the apostles parade past, and a golden rooster announces the new hour. The square is also home to the Týn Church with its twin Gothic towers, the statue of Jan Hus, and the Old Town Hall. It is a lively place year-round, with concerts, Christmas markets, and cultural events filling the square with energy.

🕯️ Night Tours of the Sedlec Ossuary — when silence is lit by candlelight.
This August in Kutná Hora, something truly special awaits: on August 12, 19, and 26, 2025, experience a unique evening in one of the most hauntingly beautiful places in Europe — the Sedlec Ossuary, illuminated only by the glow of candles.
At night, the Church of All Saints transforms. The usual buzz of tourists fades away, replaced by a profound stillness. You're welcomed by a guide dressed as a Cistercian monk or nun, who leads you down into the candlelit ossuary — a sacred space decorated with the bones of over 40,000 people.
🔥 Here, beneath flickering flames, the symbols of mortality take on a new dimension. The dim light and solemn silence invite contemplation on life, death, and what lies beyond.
🎶 After the guided tour of the lower chapel, your evening continues with a live organ concert in the upper chapel, a place long associated with hope, resurrection, and peace. The music echoes through centuries of devotion.
📍 This is not just a tour — it’s a spiritual journey, a rare chance to witness a sacred space in its most intimate and meditative form.
