Have you noticed how the profile pages changed?
Formerly all the information was spread all over the page: everything seemingly presents, but somehow unobvious.
Now all the basic stats and the regalia are concentrated in one place, you can see them immediately when the page is opened.
This profile looks much more informative, just open and see.
By the way, if you think that some of your stats are missing - let us know, we'll find the loss!

Hello! We have a very important HEMAGON question: Do you want us to offer an option for applicants to pay for the event with a card?
We can do this using Stripe. As the organizer, you would pay 1.5% per transaction plus €0.25 for each application.
For example, in BOHEMA: First Harvest, we received 72 payments totaling €4,060.
This means we would pay €78.30 to Stripe from the tournament budget while saving a lot of time through automation. Additionally, fencers would be able to process refunds automatically if needed.
Do you want this feature?
P.S. Stripe has slightly different pricing for different countries, but the differences aren’t significant.

One of the fun things that I have wanted to test for a long time is an asymmetric tournament, where fencers in a match are forced into different tactical roles. We'll try it out at BOHEMA: First Harvest
On Sunday, it will be a pure sparring day for students and instructors. There will be free sparring sessions and some sparring games.
The most noticeable and well-organized one will be "King of the Boars."
We will put a twist on the classic Franco-Belgian formula of the "King of the Hill/Freifechter" game:
All participants, let's say 20, will split into 4 groups of 5 people.
In each group, each fencer will have 3 "lives." Randomly, one of the fencers will start as the "king," while the other 4 are "pretenders."
To become the king, a pretender needs to challenge the king to a duel and win it in a clean fashion, with strikes or thrusts to the head or body.
The king has privileges; for him, any damage to the pretender will suffice.
Double hits result in both losing a life. In the case of an afterblow, the king prevails.
If a pretender manages to defeat the king in a clean manner, he becomes the king. The fencer who was the king loses a life and becomes a pretender.
This continues until there is one last king standing in a group and every other fencer has lost their life.
After that, the groups are mixed. The "winners" of the first round go to the same group, similar to the Swiss system. The fight continues for a total of 4 rounds.
When 4 rounds are done, we'll have 5 pretenders for the grand title - King of the Boars!
That will be the final group. The fencer with the most rounds won starts as the king, or randomly, if the wins are equal.
The last man standing will be declared the King of the Boars and will receive some magnificent (yet useless) prizes! ❤
