With the end of the lockdown and a considerable decrease of the COVID19 incident numbers in Germany, we, at IconPro, decided to gather the team for a very expected reunion.

We want to thank and that provided food and drinks for us and, of course, our team members, for bringing a lot of energy and making the encounter so pleasant!

Of course, we all got tested for COVID19 before attending the event.

The research project’s goal is to develop a method based on reinforcement and transfer learning for the implementation of novel controllers in quality control loops of bulk metal forming processes.

Funded by the Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and with a duration of three years, starting from the 1st of June, the project involves the collaboration of several partners, including: The Chair of Production Metrology and Quality Management, the Chair of Manufacturing Technology (both from the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University), as well as the companies Mubea Tailor Rolled Blanks GmbH (Konsortialführer), Eichsfelder Schraubenwerke GmbH, Schomäcker Federnwerk GmbH, Quality Automation GmbH, MAWI GmbH und GMBH SCHULER PRESSEN
