Hey everyone,

tomorrow is finally the day. After eight months of waiting, I am going to the Charité. I am feeling quite nervous today, especially since the trains might not be running again tomorrow. I will see, maybe I will just take a taxi.

Right now I am packing my small suitcase and trying to see a few dear people who have supported me a lot lately and who mean a lot to me. Later I might also meet someone who is giving me a lot of strength right now.

Starting tomorrow, I will be at the Charité and probably a bit less active online because I do not yet know how things will work with my phone. But if you are wondering how I am doing, feel free to message me. I will reply as soon as I can. I will likely stay there for about two weeks.

I am going there for diagnostics and will be thoroughly evaluated again. After more than ten years of therapy, this is a big step for me, and I am curious to see what comes out of it.

And to anyone thinking about getting help: do it. No matter how long it takes, it is always the right step. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but of strength.
