Pride is one of my favourite times of the year in Berlin.

Not just because of the parade, but because this city has been challenging ideas about gender, s*xuality, and identity for well over 100 years.

Long before Pride existed, Berlin was home to q***r bars, trans pioneers, LGBTIQ publications, and communities asking questions that much of the world wasn't ready to ask.

That's one of the reasons I love showing people this city.
