New album release!
The album "Live in Oslo" with Sissel Vera Pettersen, Cory Smythe, and me just got released on Cory's Bandcamp page:

This is 32 minutes of music that we collectively and spontaneously created on stage at National Jazz Scene in Oslo in October 2023 at the conclusion of International Jazz Platform. It's a journey through shifting soundscapes and a wide range of expression. Playing with Sissel and Cory was an ecstatic experience!

A few weeks ago, I was in Berlin visiting my dear friend and colleague David Friedman. We're planning to play some concerts together to promote our new duo CD "Wayfarers" so we spent a few days improvising, rehearsing, trying out new material, and just having fun jamming on various tunes that we like but had never tried playing before. One of those was "Doxy" by Sonny Rollins.
