Reviving Home

"It is hard to imagine or describe how people feel when they see their homes destroyed and their loved ones in the face of danger, and impossible to imagine the loss of your loved ones. All of our hearts are breaking in the light of the recent earthquake in Syria and Turkey.

The earthquake in Syria came 12 years after the war and after the disaster management system in the country had been completely destroyed. People died there and many thousands of families and children are now homeless after losing their homes.

Even though the crisis may bring a lot of media attention and awareness during the first few days, we are determined to help those affected throughout their journey through this disaster and to help them recover and revive their neighborhoods.

I believe that recovery is best done internally, led by local Syrian communities to revive their homes.

How can Reviving Home in this program help?

1. Recruit, partner, with construction experts and volunteers (rebuilding freelance workers) in local affected areas.

2. Train and work with them on how they can bring the needs of affected individuals in the mid and long term.

3. Train them to raise the needed money or stuff using different Fundraising tools.

In hard times, we should bring hope for affected people.

We are working to launch a crowdfunding campaign on the Global Giving and Reviving Home platforms to give the homeless a shelter at the first step.
