Future Fabrics Expo 2026 left us with an important reflection!
This year, the Future Fabrics Expo was organized alongside the Textiles Recycling Expo in Brussels. Bringing these two worlds together felt both timely and meaningful.
On one side, we witnessed remarkable innovations that give textiles a valuable second, third or even fourth life. On the other, we explored how materials can begin their journey in living, regenerating ecosystems.
For us, these are not competing approaches - they are complementary. A truly future-proof textile industry needs both: intelligent after-life solutions and healthy first-life systems.
We were honoured to contribute to the panel discussion "Regenerative Agriculture: Demystifying What Works in Practice" and to exchange perspectives with such inspiring colleagues each of them with amazing experiences regenerating natural resources.
One message resonated throughout the conversation: regenerative agriculture is about far more than environmental improvement. It is about building resilience in every sense of the word.
🌱 Ecological resilience through healthier soils, greater biodiversity and improved water systems.
🤝 Economic resilience by creating more stable livelihoods
and reducing farmers' dependence on costly external inputs.
💛 Social resilience by strengthening communities, preserving local knowledge and restoring dignity to the people who grow our raw materials.
At Raddis® Cotton, we believe that every fibre begins long before it reaches a spinning mill. It begins with healthy soil, thriving farming communities and relationships built on long-term commitment.
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, shared your ideas, challenged our thinking and joined the conversation. Every discussion reaffirmed our belief that the future of textiles will be built by connecting regeneration, circularity and collaboration - not by choosing one over the other.
Together, we can create a textile system that not only reduces harm, but actively restores the living systems on which we all depend.
