Climate data has a recognition problem. The numbers are staggering, but a chart of projected glacier loss asks a lot of anyone who isn't already paying attention. You read it, you nod, and you move on.
So with Meltdown Flags, we made a different decision early on. Instead of another visualization that explains the data, we put the data inside something everyone already knows how to read at a glance: a national flag.
Many flags carry white in them, and we tied that white to the glaciers a country depends on. As the glaciers retreat, the white in the flag recedes with them. The more a country stands to lose, the more its flag visibly changes. You don't need a caption. A flag is identity, so losing part of it reads as loss immediately.
That was the whole bet. Not a prettier graph, but a familiar symbol turned into living data. The visualization is the message, not an illustration of it. The flags first appeared at COP25 in Madrid in 2019, hand sewn, and have travelled to climate demonstrations worldwide since.
The visual is what people remember. The decision underneath it is what made it work.
What was the last cause that stopped you, the facts or the way they were shown?

You can tell how serious a company is before you read a single word. The way its text looks gives it away.
You've seen this without naming it. A headline that feels off. A deck where every slide looks slightly different. A logo where the letters sit too close. Something feels cheap, even if you can't say why.
That feeling is information. Careless type usually means careless thinking behind the brand. Deliberate type signals a company that pays attention everywhere else too.
Your customers read the look before they read the message. It's the first thing telling them whether to trust you. Getting it right isn't decoration. It's the brand keeping its promise at the smallest scale, so it's believable at every larger one.
Has a brand ever felt cheap to you before you could say why? Usually it's the look talking first.

163 international awards. Zero of them ours.
Every one sits on a client's shelf, and that's the point.
None came from a showpiece about ourselves. Every single one came out of real work for a real client, on a real brief, with a business riding on it. The award was a byproduct. The job was making something that worked for them.
That's the part we care about. When a brand hands us their identity or their launch, we treat it like it's ours to get right. The recognition is nice. The reason it follows is that we go all in on the work.
163 for our clients. 0 for us. We're completely fine with that.
When you pick a partner, what convinces you more: how they talk about themselves, or what they made for someone else?
