The new year started great for us, with international thought leadership opportunities, trade fair participation and an exciting new business expansion. Here are our January highlights:

We kicked off 2026 with a major strategic expansion: Inter-Connect, a leading cruise marketing and sales specialist in the DACH region, became part of AVIAREPS Group. This partnership broadens our expertise in the cruise sector and reinforces our commitment to delivering dedicated, local-market support for cruise brands.

At , our team and our global management joined one of the sector’s key global platforms to reconnect with partners and showcase client news on the international stage. Our local team represented a diverse and growing client portfolio, from tourism boards to airlines and mobility brands.

On the people front, we welcomed Christy Child as General Manager Tourism for in Munich! We are more than happy to have her on board, leading our German tourism team.

Finally, AVIAREPS CEO Edgar Lacker shared his travel industry insights in a new episode of TTG Conversations, outlining why Asia is shaping up as a travel powerhouse in 2026, with strong outbound growth from markets such as Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia, supported by economic resilience, an expanding middle class, and improved visa policies and flight connectivity. At the same time, AVIAREPS COO Aviation Marcelo Kaiser gave insights about our in-house developed B2B platform AVIAHUB in an interview with the Spanish magazine

We have launched the 2026 AVIAREPS “Around the World” Roadshow calendar for the first half of the year! Following a successful roadshow series in 2025, with roadshow events in more than 70 cities worldwide, we are proud to present the first part of the 2026 events! 

Organised by AVIAREPS’ local event specialists, the AVIAREPS “Around the World” Roadshow offers a unique platform for tourism boards, airlines, hotels and travel service providers to meet with key travel trade and media partners. Each event is designed to foster meaningful connections through pre-arranged 1:1 meetings and informal networking formats, all tailored to match the preferences and potential of each local market. 

The 2026 spring and summer dates promise even broader international reach, connecting travel trade professionals across five continents!
