Are coffee machines enablers for renewable energies?

Wind and solar provide clean electricity - but they are inherently unpredictable. How can our power grid remain stable? Large energy consumers in catering kitchens can be part of the solution.

Together with BKW, KOENA tec is testing how 50 coffee machines in Switzerland can help to balance the power grid.
