Welcome to the team, Jacob!
We’re happy to welcomeJacob Vølund ( ) as our new intern at Nordbo Robotics. Over the next couple of months, Jacob will be joining our team of application engineers as part of his studies to become an 'Automationsteknolog' from UCL Erhvervsakademi og Professionshøjskole.
Jacob brings a strong background from the military, and we’re excited to combine that experience with his growing automation skillset. We’re confident that both application muscles, and a few extra military standards will make a positive impact at Nordbo.
We always enjoy collaborating with UCL and are happy to welcome talented interns who are eager to learn, contribute, and challenge us along the way.

Over the years, we’ve successfully completed multiple manual touch-up installations based on Mimic technology, GEMA equipment, and a Universal Robots cobot, all in close collaboration with GA Hansen. And we’re just getting started — many more projects are on the horizon.
Right now, we’re looking to expand our network of Mimic integration partners in Europe and the Americas.

This time, is using 𝗠𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝘆, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵-𝘂𝗽 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗔 𝗰𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻. 💡 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁: Louis Poulsen was the very first company that Nordbo Robotics visited 𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 ago to explore how Mimic could help automate painting and coating. At that point, Mimic was only installed in polishing solutions. It’s amazing to see that early conversation come full circle in a good installation today.

What an incredible start with Hakuto Ltd.
It was both a privilege and a pleasure to officially kick off our partnership with four days of intensive integrator training, collaboration, and connection.
Beyond the learning, it was a great opportunity to truly get to know each other - across borders, teams, and organisations.
Excited for what lies ahead and looking forward to delivering many great projects together!
