It was our first time in NYC, and we wanted to check something very touristy: to stay right in Times Square and see if it’s really worth it or not. We chose Millennium Hotel Broadway — one of the most booked hotels on Booking and Airbnb

And the reality is:
• price doesn’t always include city taxes — pay attention
• high floor is not guaranteed, it starts when you book superior room
• great view = extra payment + only according to availability
• no refrigerator in the room — you need to ask for it, and maybe you get it, also according to availability

😍 But the location is truly perfect.
If you go through all these efforts and pay for it — you get one of the best locations for a first-time tourist trip to NYC

‼️ Does it worth it?
For us, as first time — yes.

We don’t regret anything and wouldn’t change this experience. But if we go to NYC again — no.
Next time we would stay in a quieter, cheaper, more local atmospheric part of the city.

🌿 What makes it special:
• ~50m waterfall in the middle of jungle
• natural pool you can swim in
• pure, raw nature — no filters needed

👉 How to get there:
• hike (30–40 min)
• or horseback through the forest

⚠️ Important:
• muddy after rain → wear proper shoes
• go early to avoid groups
It’s not the easiest place, but that’s exactly why it feels different

Just 1 hour from Cartagena…
and the water changes completely.

🏝️ Rosario Islands
— turquoise sea, white sand, small tropical islands

🌊 Why people go:
• clear Caribbean water (rare near Cartagena)
• snorkeling, coral reefs, beach clubs
• day trips or private island stays

👉 How to get there:
• boat from Cartagena (45–60 min)
• tours or private transfer

• can get crowded mid-day
→ go early or stay overnight
