I’m so excited to share that I’ve officially moved to Santo Domingo to study abroad and dive deep into the dance world here!
I’m training daily, going to start teaching classes soon I’m taking classes at different schools but also currently studying at the Escuela de Bellas Artes with the Ballet Nacional company. Every morning I’m taking company class. It’s a blessing to be surrounded by such talented and inspiring dancers.
Dance lives everywhere, but it feels especially meaningful to explore it here in the DR where my dad is from and where much of my family lives. Being able to visit my grandmother whenever I want, especially now that she’s older, is something I’ll never take for granted.
I have no expectations just deep gratitude and hope to stay long-term and dance professionally here one day. Huge thank you to Erich and Cork for making this dream possible.

Wow—today is officially the last day of classes here at Shenandoah University, and I’m filled with mixed emotions.

I’ve completed my one-year position as a Visiting Professor, and what an incredible journey it’s been. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to teach in higher education and to share my experience and passion for dance—especially in Horton, Vogue, and Latin social dance styles.

I’m beyond proud of the work I’ve done and even more proud of the growth I’ve seen in my students. Watching them develop as dancers and absorb the techniques I offered has been a true joy. While my time here has come to an end, I’ll truly miss working with these talented and inspiring artists.

A huge thank you to my best friend for bringing me out to Wi******er, VA, and giving me the chance to be a part of this beautiful community.
