Miss Rizos

A few days ago I shared one of the most vulnerable posts in my almost 15 years online and saying thank you falls short of how I feel. It was 6 minutes long and Instagram basically told me no one would watch it, but YOU SAW ME 😭

For the past 3 years, I’ve been showing up, but not fully. It’s hard to explain what it feels like to keep going while feeling like you’re not yourself. And for this to happen in the background of my motherhood, something that’s soooo important to me, I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.

There were moments where my personal brand was doing well, while my business was struggling. That contrast was hard, but I’m grateful I made solid personal financial decisions because they truly helped carry me through.

My influencer career did ultimately take a hit, I went from 8 contracts, to 1, to 0. I love doing this work and I plan on really showing up on here again and getting back to reigniting this part of me. Sharing, inspiring, and working again.

I want to also make clear that I wasn’t alone. My partner, family, and friends held me down in every way from packing orders, wiping tears, helping with my baby and more. I don’t know where I’d be without them.

Now what’s next is not super clear to me yet, but I do know that the road doesn’t just end here. I need to fully close this chapter so that I can think of how to move forward.
